19th Blackpool Brownies recently enjoyed an unforgettable Brownie Takeover weekend at PGL Winmarleigh Hall in Lancaster. The girls embraced every opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence and make lasting memories with their friends.
Throughout the weekend, the Brownies took part in a variety of exciting outdoor activities, including building their own rafts before some of the girls made their Brownie Promise in a very special and memorable setting on the water. Many of the girls also pushed themselves out of their comfort zones by taking on the zip wire and trapeze, conquering fears and cheering each other on every step of the way.
The weekend was full of teamwork, laughter and adventure, with the Brownies showing fantastic encouragement and support for one another throughout. To finish off the evenings, everyone gathered around the campfire for songs and fun — although it’s safe to say the leaders may have taken over the campfire singing at one point!
A brilliant weekend was had by all, and the girls returned home with lots of stories, smiles and achievements to be proud of.
