I’m delighted to introduce myself as the new County Commissioner for Lancashire West, having had the honour of taking up the role on 1st April 2026.
My Guiding journey began as a Brownie in the early 1970s, where I made wonderful memories that have stayed with me ever since.
When my daughters joined Guiding, I was delighted to become a Leader myself, to give back to an organisation that had given me so much, and to play a part in creating those same opportunities for others. Guiding continues to be something I care deeply about, and I still love the fun, friendship, and sense of community it brings.
I am very much looking forward to visiting units across the County and meeting the incredible volunteers who give so much of their time and energy to ensure girls have inspiring and enjoyable experiences. You are at the heart of everything we do, and it’s a privilege to support you.
I would love to hear your ideas, thoughts, and priorities for the County. Please do share what matters most to you, so that the County Team can focus on what will make the biggest difference, we will always do our very best to support you.
