Leaders, Guides, and Brownies attended the Remembrance Service and Parade at Blackpool Cenotaph, showing our respect for those who gave their lives for the people of today. Everyone looked so smart and did Blackpool Division proud. The rain didn’t stop, but it certainly didn’t stop us!
Our members stood alongside other community groups and organisations, taking part in a moving service that honoured the bravery and sacrifice of those who served in past and present conflicts. It was a powerful moment of reflection for our young members, many of whom were attending their first Remembrance Parade.
A huge thank you to all the girls, leaders, and families who turned out despite the weather. Your dedication ensured Girlguiding Blackpool was represented with pride and respect.
We will remember them.
