On Saturday 28th September, members from across the County gathered at Staining Village Hall for a very special afternoon led by County Commissioner Jacky Ramsden, with guest of honour Deputy Region Chief Commissioner Tracy Johnson.
Everyone enjoyed a plentiful afternoon tea of sandwiches, jam and cream scones, and delicious cakes, while catching up with friends and sharing the latest Guiding news.
A wonderful slideshow presentation, kindly prepared by Ann, showcased highlights of the Guiding year, including some brilliant photos from camp.
The afternoon also included the presentation of awards, with Tracey Johnson presenting long service awards, County Thanks Badges, and two Hero Awards – a fantastic way to celebrate the dedication and commitment of our volunteers. A special shout out to Ann Miller who received the Region Chief Commissioner’s Award for her exceptional service over many years.
Laughter filled the hall during a lively gift game, where carefully wrapped parcels could be chosen… or stolen by another player!
It was a lovely opportunity for leaders and Trefoil Guild members to come together, celebrate achievements, and enjoy each other’s company.
